Reveal’s Inclement Weather Protocol
The safety of our volunteers and clients is a priority at Reveal Resource Center. This inclement weather policy outlines how Reveal will handle notification of volunteers and clients.
Should inclement weather occur during the day, Reveal leadership will follow the Leander ISD school closures.
Upon determination that Reveal will be closed all efforts will be made to notify volunteers properly. You can visit the LISD district website where they post inclement school closure announcements on the district’s Alerts page. Plus, we will post an announcement on Facebook and send emails to volunteers. That’s one reason we always need up-to-date contact information.
We know that when we delay or cancel serving at Reveal completely it has a significant impact on families. The concern for volunteers and clients safety always serves as the main driver when these decisions are made, and we always strive to err on the side of caution.

Under the direction of our Executive Director, Reveal Resource Center is an organization composed of 100% volunteers.
Reveal is a faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to feeding families through spiritual and physical resources.
